My name is Hiba Abdelrahman, I am a Sudanese student currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. I was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates and Living outside of Sudan has me strongly holding on to my traditions and cultures in fear of losing a sense of them and forgetting where I come from. The need to keep my Sudanese culture ingrained in me has motivated me to constantly ask my parents and other family members about what makes us unique? During my journey of learning about our traditions, I have come to see the different and beautiful customs we have. People have their ways of honoring their culture, and creating this blog happens to be mine.
